About Us
There are many wonderful people here at Calvary Ginowan who make ministry so effective here in Okinawa. Here are a few of them who assist in ministry. But most importantly, if it were not for Jesus Christ, nothing we do would be possible.
 
 Pastor Tommy 
 

 Pastor Tommy has been a Pastor since 1991. Soon after Graduating from LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles he went to his home town of Corona California and began Livingwater Fellowship. After a few years the church was changed to Calvary Chapel Livingwater as they became an affiliate church of Calvary Chapel. After pastoring the church for 14 years, he and his family heard the call of God in 2004 to move to Okinawa Japan where he first began taking missionary trips with Rick Barnett in February of 2000. The calling to live in Okinawa full time was to start the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Okinawa as well as plant churches all over the island. Dan Pallman

 

 God brought the Pallmann's to Japan in 2001. They have been in Okinawa since 2003. They are blessed with 1 daughter, Emi, and another on the way! Debe's mom, Hiroko, lives with them as well. Moving to Okinawa was a homecoming for Debe, as she grew up here. Dan and Deb are both gifted individuals. God continue to develop the gift of teaching through Dan in that he teaches the Bible Study at w2 (Worship/Word). We look forward to what the Lord will do through the Pallman's in the future.

 

Kayo Yamauchi

 

 Kayo attended a semester at CCBC Murrieta in 2003 and soon returned back to Okinawa. Since then, she has had the opportunity to attend school in China, and is now assisting at Calvary Ginowan as an English translator into Japanese. She assist in translation in both Sunday evening services as well as Wednesday night services. Kayo is always open to the moving of the Lord through her life.

 

Natsuki Iha

 

 Natsuki attended CCBC Murrieta in 2003 and will graduate in the Summer of 2007. She has been living in Okinawa all of her life, except for the short visit to the United States from "04 to 05". Natsuki helps translate on Sundays and Wednesdays at Calvary Ginowan as well as teaches Japanese II at CCBC Okinawa.

 

Tom Cotton

 

 Tom is a cool Blok from down under, that is down under from Australia. He is currently a 3rd Semester Student here at CCBC Okinawa. Tom is our Youth Leader who is in charge of Jr. High and High School youth. He is a committed leader who loves ministering to the kids on Okinawa.

 

Joel Coronado

 

Joel comes to us via Cherry Valley, California. He is a CCBC Graduate and is presently one of our instructors at our Bible College. Joel is gifted in many areas, not only is he a great cook, but he also plays a mean bass guitar. Joel also serves as an intern at Kinser Chapel and at CCNaha.

 

Eder Diaz

 

Eder is an instructor at CCBC Okinawa, a graduate of CCBC and serves alongside at Futenma Chapel. Eder is a gifted worship leader and he comes to us via LasVegas Nevada. But he claims California as his home town.

 Pastor Tim

 

  Pastor Tim has been a Calvary Pastor since 2006. Tim is a native of Norco California where he was raised all of his life. After graduating from Norco high school, he felt the call of God to become a missionary to Okinawa Japan. While living in Japan he quickly began learning the language as he had a deep desire to serve the Okinawa Japanese people. In 2003 the Lord brought a wonderful gal into his life, and in 2005 he married his beautiful wife Ayu. Presently, Tim lives in Ginowan city where he is ministering at the church while he teaches at Sci-tech college as an english instructor. He is also attending Ryukyu University where he will recieve a certificate of completion through their two year program of Japanese Language studies, he will graduate from his studies in Spring of 2007. Robert (Vunder) Wunderlich

 

 Vunder first came to Okinawa in "02" to do some missions trips on the island. He came back in "05" and has been here since. Rob does many things here in Okinawa and assists at CCGinowan. He is also one of the instructors at CCBC Okinawa teaching a men's discipleship class. He is a great brother with a heart dedicated to the Lord.

 

 

Trevor Raichura

 

 Trevor Raichura has been on the Island of Okinawa for some time now. He first came on island as an English Teacher working on Ie Island. Since then, God has opened new doors for Trevor. He, along with Dan Pallmann teach the Bible Study at w2 (Worship/Word). Trevor also assists at Calvary Ginowan in Japanese Translation and teaches Japanese I at CCBC Okinawa.

 

Joe Tipton

 

 Joe is a recent graduate at the School of Ministry in Costa Mesa. This school is under the direction of Pastor Chuck Smith. Since graduating from SOM, he has followed the calling of God to Okinawa Japan where he assists in ministry as well as assist at  CCBC Okinawa. Joe is a great brother with a huge heart that is in love with Jesus Christ.

 

Andrew Neely

 

 The man from Iowa. It is interesting how God brings people your way. Via the internet, Andrew has always been interested in ministering in Japan. In college he took Japanese speaking courses, later to see God use his interest as he is now a full time missionary here in Okinawa. Andrew currently serves as an instructor here at the Bible College and is the Worship Leader at Calvary Ginowan.

 

Chuck and Yumi Robb

 

  Chuck and Yumi are a wonderful new couple coming to us via Mainland Japan and Georgia. Chuck served in the United States Navy but is now one of the instructors here at CCBC Okinawa. Yumi is a graduate of CCBC Hungary and is now serving along side her husband here in Okinawa. A wonderful couple in Jesus Christ.

 

Tamiko Murakami

 

 Tamiko is a graduate of CCBC Seigen Germany, but also attended here in Okinawa for one year. She is a native Okinawan growing up her whole life here on the island. Tamiko is not only an instuctor at CCBC Okinawa but is also a gifted teacher and translator. She also serves as an intern at CCOkinawa.
