prayers. We are convinced that Prayer is the most important thing that you can do for
 us here in Okinawa. Prayer is the Power of God released towards His Work. Also, check

 Itoman City

 

 

Itoman City population - 55,444

 

Itoman city is the farthest city south of Okinawa. Located at the mouth of the dragon,

it is very beautiful. The beach landscape is breathtaking, but the breakwater is harsh

and dangerous. Located in Itoman City is

the famous warsites of "Memorial Peace Park" and Himeyuri's "Cave of the Virgins". Life is simpler in this part of Okinawa. There are

many farms, sugarcane plantations and sweet potato fields. Still, there are over 50,000

people who have never heard of the

Love of Jesus Christ.

 Onna Village and Uruma City

 

 

Onna Village population - 9,333

Uruma City population - 113,863

 

Onna Village and Uruma City, both at the

center of the Ryukyu Island. Onna Village on

the western side overlooking the South China Sea. While Uruma City is on the Eastern side overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Between these cities the island is at its narrowest. You

 can drive from the Pacific Ocean to the South China Sea in less than 10 minutes. Uruma City

is a large busy city, while Onna Village is a

quiet fisherman town. The people in this area

of Okinawa need to hear about Jesus Christ.
